bei Dali/China: Für Touristen wird nach alter Väter Sitte noch mit Kormoranen gefischt. Den armen Tieren ist der Hals verengt, so dass sie große Fische nicht herunterschlucken können. Der Fischer kann diese dann aus dem Hals "herauswürgen". Ich vermute, die Kormorane finden das nicht so lustig wie die Touristen. Aber immerhin werden sie nach jedem Fang mit einer Menge kleiner Fische belohnt.

When cormorants see fish, they jump into the wates, dive and try to eat the fish. But as their throats are tied up by the fishermen, it is impossible for them to swallow the fished fish. The fishermen just have to pull the fish out of the throat. In order to thank the cormorant, it gets feeded by little fish (that it can swallow).
